Donald W. Mcrobbie

Donald McRobbie received his B.Sc. degree in physics and M.Sc. degree in medical physics from the University of Aberdeen. He was awarded his Ph.D. degree in magnetic resonance imaging from the University of London in 1992. He is currently the head of Radiological and MR Physics, deputy director of the Radiological Sciences Unit in the Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust, and an honorary senior lecturer in imaging at Imperial College, London. His research interests include functional MRI and voxel-based morphometry, 3-D imaging of the airways, MR device tracking and guidance, and dosimetry in computed tomography. He is an author of the award-winning textbook MRI from Picture to Proton.
