Clara Pons

Clara Pons currently works at the Biotechnology and Plant Breeding of Cultivated Species, Institute for Plant Molecular and Cell Biology. Clara does research in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Transcriptomics, Genomics and Biotechnology. Their current project is TRADITOM. The aim of TRADITOM is to valorise the genetic diversity stored in traditional tomato varieties and to increase their resilience in order to prevent their steady replacement by higher yielding, hardier and often less tasty modern cultivars.
