Athanasios Charalampopoulos

Dr. Athanasios Charalampopoulos is an environmental biologist / plant ecologist. Conservation and biodiversity issues are generally into his research scopes, but his main interests emphasise on plants' impact on human health under different regimes, monitoring of airborne pollen and fungal spores spatiotemporal patterns (horizontally / vertically), via volumetric sampling and microscopy. Currently, he conducts research on the allerginicity assessment of urban green spaces ('AlleGreen' proj.)
