Astrid Bjørkøy

Astrid Bjørkøy was born in Hemne, Norway, in 1968. She received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Physics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. She is currently employed as a Senior Engineer with the Center of Advanced Microscopy (CAM), Department of Physics, NTNU. Her research interests include the application of advanced optical and atomic force microscopy techniques and fiber-optic sensor systems in life science, image processing, and analysis.
