Andreas Åslund

A. K. O. Åslund received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in organic chemistry from Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden, in 2003 and 2009, respectively. He has held two postdoctoral positions and is currently a researcher with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. He authored over 20 publications and holds four patents and pending patents in the field of fluorescent markers for cells and protein aggregates. His current research interests include safe and transient ultrasound mediated opening of the BBB for drug delivery purposes.
