Anirban Mazumdar

Anirban Mazumdar received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2007, 2009, and 2013, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA, USA. He also holds a courtesy appointment with the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering. He studies automation for high-consequence and challenging environments, including autonomous drilling, unmanned aerial vehicles, and mobile robots. His research interests include mechatronics, AI, machine learning, and feedback controls.
