During time my researches have ranged from fungal physiopathology to post-harvest diseases, sometime even to entomology. In the last years I was involved mainly into bacterial plant pathogens, from Pseudomonas syringae to Xylella fastidiosa,. I’m particularly interested in molecular investigations (genetic diversity of populations, molecular assays for diagnosis, genetic basis of pathogenicity) and biocontrol strategies.
