I am a molecular biologist (PhD in Biology and MS in Bioinformatics) with expertise in clinical metagenomics, microbial ecology, comparative genomics and bioinformatics; with demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment; with capacity to identify problems and find practical and creative solutions. I am currently working at the School of Biology, Georgia Institute of Technology. My main research lines are clinical metagenomics, human gut microbiome, microbial ecology and genomics of pathogenic bacteria.
