We are interested in microbial evolution and its implications in antimicrobial resistance, virulence, and the microbial’s ability to jump between animal species. Our research focuses on the relationship between microbial populations colonizing humans and animals inhabiting environments that are under anthropogenic or non-anthropogenic influences (One Health).
