André Clausner

André Clausner received the Diplomingenieur degree in applied mechanics from Technical University Chemnitz in 2007. He joined the International Research Training Group “Materials and Concepts for Advanced Interconnects” working in the field of advanced materials for microelectronics until 2010. He joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems Dresden, Dresden, Germany, in 2013 after completing his dissertation at the Technical University Chemnitz, Chemnitz, Germany, in physics, focusing on the area of nanoindentation. The goal of his doctoral work was the evaluation of nanoindentation methods for the determination of yield stresses in various classes of materials. Since 2018, he has been leading the Nanomechanics and Reliability for Microelectronics Group, Fraunhofer IKTS. He brings with him a vast knowledge in the field of (nano/micro) mechanical behavior of materials, characterization methods, as well as microelectronics reliability.
