Akhilesh Kumar Singh

Dr. Singh is interdisciplinary trained applied microbiologist/ biotechnologist/ nano-biotechnologist and currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar, India. Dr. Singh did M.Sc. (Biotechnology) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India followed by M.Tech. (Agricultural Biotechnology) & Ph.D. [Polyhydroayalkanoate Thermoplastics] from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. Recipient of GATE and CSIR-JRF/SRF Fellowships, India. He has 16 research papers in referred international journals; 08 review articles in referred international journals and 19 book chapters. Dr. Singh has supervised 02 Ph.D., 01 M.Tech., 03 M.Sc. and 05 B.Tech. students; Editorial Board Member of Indo Global Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Reviewer of Journals: Springer (APPL. BIOCHEM. BIOTECHNOL., etc.) Elsevier (ALGAL RES., J. CLEAN. PROD., etc.), Wiley (BIOTECHNOL. PROG), etc.; Research areas: Microbial/Environmental Biotechnology, PHAs/Nanoparticles & Biofuels and Techniques Known: Biochemical separation techniques, GC-MS Spectrometry, HPLC, Statistical Modelling (RSM), etc.
