Govindan Pandithurai currently leads the projects i) High Altitude Cloud Physics Laboratory at Mahabaleshwar in Western Ghats, and ii) Radar and Satellite Meteorology at Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology. Pandithurai does research in Aerosol-cloud -precipitation interactions, Radar and Satellite remote sensing, Implementing Atmospheric Measurements to understand physical processes relating to clouds, convection.
