Zizheng Cao

Zizheng Cao (Member, IEEE) received the highest Hons. Ph.D. degree (cum laude) from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2015. He is currently a Senior Research Scientist with Peng Cheng Laboratory, Shenzhen, China. After one year of postdoctoral research, he was appointed an Assistant Professor with TU/e. He has more than ten years of research experience in optical communication system design, high-speed digital signal processing, and the design, fabrication, and characterization of photonic integrated circuits in multiple platforms, including SOI, SiN and InP. Since 2018, he has been the European Conference on Optical Communication as a Member of the Technical Program Committee.
