Her research is centred on the development of robotic devices for interventions requiring Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) guidance, e.g. stereotactic neurosurgery and intra-cardiac catheterization. Her work was recognised in several prestigious awards, including Best Conference Paper Award in ICRA’18, First Place Prize Paper Award in TPEL'17, and Best Live Demonstration Prize in Surgical Robot Challenge 2016. She was selected as Innovator Under 35 by MIT Technology Review (MIT TR35) in 2020.
