Zhen Qiu

Zhen Qiu received the B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering, M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Since August 2009, he has been a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K. From July 2006 to July 2009, he worked as an Algorithm Development Engineer in OmniVision Technologies Inc., Shanghai, China. His research interests include signal and image processing, inverse problem, super-resolution, 3-D reconstruction, feature detection and recognition, and object tracking. Mr. Qiu has received a First Award of Shanghai Science and Technology Development Awards in 2005 and Scottish Overseas Research Student Awards Scheme from 2009 to 2012.
