Zhaode Yuan received the Ph.D. degree in active tectonic and paleoseismology from the Institute of Geology, China Earthquake Administration, Beijing, China, in 2018. He is currently an Associate Researcher with the Institute of Geology, China Earthquake Administration. His research interests include coseismic surface rupture, paleoseismology, and geologic slip rates along large-scale strike-slip fault.
