Ze Cheng

I currently works in industry as a data scientist in an R&D department. My work involves research and applications of machine learning to solve various problems in manufacturing, e.g., testing and detection, classification and predictions, etc. Our projects are based on a good combination of domain knowledge and machine learning. For example, we start from physical and engineering analysis, such as signal processing, and then we define our problem as regression or classification, which leads to a careful experiment design and data collection.
