Zdravko Kacic

Zdravko Kačič (M’87) is currently a Full Professor with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, where he is also the Rector. He co-operated in a number of basic research and development projects that were funded by the Slovenian Research Agency or National/International Industry and the European Union. He has authored two textbooks in the field of digital signal processing and man–machine communication, and has authored or coauthored over 300 articles in scientific journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include speech perception, robust speech pre-processing, automatic speech recognition and synthesis, audio/video content processing, and content initiated communication services.
