Zdeněk Dufek

JUDr. Ing. Zdeněk Dufek, Ph.D. graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University and the Faculty of Business and Economy, Mendel University. He also finished his post-gradual study program at the Mendel University, specialised in evaluation of enterprises. He finished his doctoral study program at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno Technical University. The topics of his dissertation thesis included assessment of economic efficiency of public construction investments. He is an expert witness in the field of economics, with specialisation in evaluation of enterprises, efficiency of public construction investments and economics of public orders. He works at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology as the director of the AdMaS research centre, dealing with research of advanced construction materials, structures and technologies and also as an assistant professor in the Institute of Structural Economics and Management. In the past, he was the head of the Facility Management section in the company E.ON Česká republika, s.r.o., dealing with administration and management of building, car fleet and internal services. He was a deputy major of the Brno town district and a Chairman of the Financial Committee of the South-Moravian Municipal Council.
