Bio
Yue Wang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in 2005, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, USA, in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
She was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN, USA. She is the Warren H. Owen—Duke Energy Associate Professor of Engineering and the Director of the Interdisciplinary and Intelligent Research (I2R) Laboratory with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Clemson University, Clemson, SC, USA. Her research interests include human–robot interatcion systems, multirobot systems, and cyber-physical systems.
Dr. Wang is an active American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) member. She serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine and the ASME Journal of Autonomous Vehicles and Systems. She is also a Technical Editor of the IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics. She was a recipient of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Award in 2016 and the NSF CAREER Award in 2015.
