Bio

Yu Zhang received the bachelors’ and master’s degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1996 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph. D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2003. Since 2015, he has been a Research Professor with the School of Medicine, Tsinghua University. Since 2019, he has been the Director of the School of Medicine, Tsinghua University—RocketHeart Co., Ltd., Joint Research Center for Artificial Heart, Beijing. His current research interests include noninvasive diagnosis, hemodynamics, and interventional medical devices.
