Yousif Kelaita

Hi, I'm Yousif. During my time at Stanford I completed my doctoral thesis in Prof. Jelena Vuckovic's Nanoscale & Quantum Photonics group. I was interested in the simulation, design, fabrication, and characterization of single photon emitting devices. During that time I picked up a number of experimental laboratory skills that I've carried with me into my career. Nowadays, I work as a Hardware Engineer at Google, where my interests have diversified. I perform failure analysis to support all Alphabet hardware, spanning consumer electronics, healthcare, and even quantum computers, among other products. I'm interested in all varieties of research that have specific short-to-medium-term product applications, and would be thrilled to see what kinds of projects people are working on!
