Yongjie Huang

Dr. Yongjie Huang (黄永杰) currently works as Research Scientist at the Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms (CAPS), University of Oklahoma. His current research focuses on cloud- and precipitation-related dynamics, microphysics and their interactions. His primary research interests include, (1) Atmospheric dynamics, numerical modeling (LES, CRM), data assimilation, and cloud microphysics; (2) Severe convective systems, extreme rainfall events, regional climate; (3) Tropical cyclones.
