Yong Wang(王勇)

Yong Wang was born in Hunan Province, China, in 1964. He received the M.S. degree in electron physics and devices from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS), Beijing, China, in 1989. In 1989, he was a Software Engineer with the Beijing Computer Technique Service Center, Beijing, to work on the development of software. From 1994 to 1995, he was dispatched by the Chinese government as the China–Japan youth exchange scholar to work on computer engineering at the Fujia System Center, Tokyo, Japan. Since 1995, he has been with IECAS. In 2001, he became Research Professor. He is currently the Deputy Director of the R&D Center for Microwave Device and Technology, IECAS. His research interests are high-power klystron and computational electromagnetics.
