Yong Lee

Yong Lee received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Hiroshima University, Higashihiroshima, Japan, in 1984 and 1986, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, USA, West Lafayette, IN, in 1991. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hiroshima University, as an Assistant Professor. In 1994, he joined the Central Research Laboratory, Hitachi, Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, where he was involved in research on semiconductor optical devices for optical communication systems and terahertz time-domain spectroscopy.
