Yasuhito Sekine

Yasuhito Sekine received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2006. His research interests include understanding how planets and satellites evolved atmospheres and oceans that are capable of supporting life, and also include the origin and evolution of planetary and satellite atmospheres, including earth, Mars, and Titan, chemical evolution in solar nebula and planetary atmospheres, hypervelocity impact of asteroids and comets on planets, geochemical analyses of ancient sedimentary rocks to understand the evolution of Earth’s atmosphere, and hydrothermal reactions in icy bodies and asteroids in the solar system.
