Yanqiu Che (M’17) received the B.S., M.Eng., and the Ph.D. degrees in control theory and engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Tianjin University. From 2012 to 2015, he was a Visiting Research Associate with Penn State University, Hershey, PA, USA. From 2010 to 2018, he was a Professor with the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering, Tianjin University of Technology and Education, Tianjin. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Neurosurgery, Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA, USA. His current research interests include neurodynamics, computational neuroscience, neural control engineering, and brain–computer interface.
