Xiliang Sun

Xiliang Sun received the B.S. degree in remote sensing from the Information Engineering University, Zhengzhou, China, in 2010, and the M.S. degree in photogrammetry and remote sensing from the Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China, in 2013. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in ecology with the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. His recent research areas include light detection and ranging (LiDAR) algorithm development and its applications in city ecology, such as point clouds segmentation, city green biomass extraction, and 3-D modeling.
