主要从事树木年轮高分辨(年内)稳定同位素记录和树木径向生长的控制机制和模拟研究。借助生理过程模型方法探究树木年轮代用指标(稳定同位素分馏和径向生长)的环境和生理生态影响因素及其过程。已先后在《Earth and Planetary Science Letters》、《New Phytologist》、《Aricultural and Forest Meteorology》、《Forest Ecology and Management》、《Global and Planetary Change》等国内外专业学术期刊发表论文60余篇, 其中第一作者或通讯作者论文13篇(SCI论文12篇,中文核心论文2篇)。
