个人简介
My research has focused on understanding mechanisms that coordinate gene activities in the 3D space of the nucleus in eukaryotic cells. After unveiling key regulatory roles of transcription control by small RNAs and transcription factors, I expanded to the field of functional genomics and led a team effort to invent GRID-seq, a new technology to map genome-wide RNA interactions with chromatin. My current research interests include resolving dynamic chromatin organization in cell fate control at single-cell level; development of genomics methods to provide foundational scaffold to define critical regulatory events throughout the genome; and apply these methods in multi-omics studies of development, genetic diseases and cancer.
