个人简介
I am Associate Professor at the Embedded Systems Engineering (ESE) section of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of the Technical University of Denmark. My research interests are in the areas of Wireless Embedded Systems and Low-Power Networks, and in developing dependable enabling technologies for emerging applications, such as Digital Health, Smart Cities, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT).
I am currently course responsible for Operating Systems and Network Security.
From 2014 to 2018, I held various researcher positions at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Bristol and I was a core member of SPHERE: UK's flagship Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration (IRC) on Healthcare Technologies, serving as the lead responsible for the design and development of SPHERE's bespoke IoT sensing platforms (details here), which have been deployed in the houses of dozens of volunteers enabling clinical research.
I hold a PhD in Embedded Systems Engineering from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of the Technical University of Denmark. I also hold an MSc in Computer Science with specialisation in Computer Networks and Telecommunications from the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete, and an BSc in Informatics and Telecommunications from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. I was also associated with the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas.
I am also a Senior Member of the IEEE.
