Wladimiro Díaz Villanueva

Wladimiro Díaz-Villanueva received the B.Sc. degree in chemistry from the Universitat de València, Valencia, Spain, in 1986 and the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the same institution in 1996. Prior to receiving the Ph.D. degree, he received an academic research grant and started working in several research institutions. After receiving the Ph.D. degree, from 1996 to 2002, he was a Systems Analyst with the Computer Center, Universitat de València and an Assistant Professor with the Department of d’Informàtica. In 2002, he became a Senior Lecturer with the Universitat de València. His current research focuses on the areas of pattern recognition and machine learning.
