DSc, Eng. Associate professor of security sciences, at AWL; Col. (res.) – Former (2016-19) Dean of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces (MULF). Graduate: 2015 Žilina University of Žilina - Faculty of Safety Engineering (Habitation); 2002 Wroclaw University of Technology Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Metallurgy of Rare Elements (doctor); 1995 National Defense University (Operational-Tactical Course); 1994 Agricultural University of Wrocław Institute of Environmental Engineering postgraduate studies under the TEMPUS program 'Water and environment' (postgraduate studies); 1992 Higher Pedagogical School in Opole Faculty of Mat-Phys-Chem (master's degree); 1990 Academy of the General Staff of the Polish Army (pedagogical course); 1986 Academy of Chemical Officers in Krakow (engineer). For many years, he has been conducting security research, specializing in technical and organizational aspects of selecting task components for the implementation of projects related to the diagnosis and elimination of chemical, biological and radiological contamination. He was many times a member of the crisis response task teams of the Lower Silesian Voivode. He collaborates scientifically with many research centres in the country and in the world. He specializes in organizing defense projects against weapons of mass destruction in close cooperation between the army and the police or the fire brigade and specialist rescue formations. He is an academic teacher with many years of teaching experience. He continued his academic career from lecturer to professor at AWL. He held a number of social and honorary functions. In the years 2012-14 he was the President of the Association of Military Chemists of the Republic of Poland. He is the author and co-author of many books and academic textbooks. Scientific interests: Protection against CBRN threats, Protection measures against contamination, Natural and civilization disasters - recognition and elimination of contamination, Nuclear safety and radiological protection, Dosimetry and radiometry in industrial applications, Terrorism and counteracting terrorist threats, Cooperation of emergency services and task components in situations crisis, Environmental protection, Chemistry of separation processes.
