López-López Wilson

Wilson López López is a PhD in Basic and Social Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, with his thesis entitled "Mass Media, Conflict and Peace: Psychosocial Framing of Conflict and Peace in Colombia" that got the recognition of extraordinary award and thesis Summa Cum Laude. He is a Professor of the Pontifical Xavierian University, Editor of Universitas Psychologica, Leader of the "Social links and Peace Cultures" research group, and member of the "Learning & Information Society" research group at the same university. He is a Board of Advisors member of the Reconciliation Instrument of the Alliance for Reconciliation Program, winner of the Interamerican Psychology Award 2017 for Interamerican Society of Psychology , two-times winner of the Investigation Javerian Award for best investigation work in the editions 2015 and 2017, winner of the National Award of psychology in the category of Research 2017, three-times winner of the International Development Grant awarded by the Society for Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA) from United States. According to the colombian ranking of researchers, webometrics, he occupies the 85th possition with a high index H in all the areas of knowledge, he currently has two lines of research and publication one of Social Psychology (Social conflicts and Peace) and the other of Scientific communication. Lopez Lopez has published more than 100 articles in journals, including in Web of Science and SCOPUS; in addition to write chapters in books and books, he has to be en an opinion columnist in mass media in his country, such as the magazine Razon Publica and the newspaper El Espectador. As a researcher, he has carried out various studies on mass media and conflict and related topics such as forgiveness, legal issues, and even drugs. He also has a line of research in Science Communication and Scientometrics and serves as an Advisor on the International Relationships and Publications for the Colombian College of Psychologists (COLPSIC). López López founded and currently is the Permanent Secretary for Latin America of the Iberoamerican Federation of Psychology Association (FIAP). He is President of ABA Colombia and a full member of ABAI, Elected president of the Political Psychology Division of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), President of the International Advisory Committee of the Journal Network of Spain, Latin America, and Portugal (Redalyc), co-coordinator of the Journal Editors Workgroup of the Interamerican Association of Psychology (SIP) and co-director of the International Scientific Psychology Network. He has been an invited professor in several universities in Iberoamerica and a member of scientific and editorial committees of over 20 Iberoamerican journals. Member of the International Task Force on Education of ABAI, President-elect of the Division of Political Psychology of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), and member of the Psychology working group of the Terrorism and peace of the IAAP, He is currently an ambassador of Plan S (a coalition that promotes open access in the world). he is currently a member of the steering committee of the International Network for Peace Psychology and the advisory board of the Global Network of Psychologists for Human Rights.
