William F Wieczorek is a Senior Scientist at the Calverton Center, Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. William does research in behavioral health, population health improvement, and geospatial/contextual factors in health. His work has focused on community responses to reduce the health impacts of opioids and other drugs, impaired driving, and developmental models of high risk behaviors. Previous to his current position, Dr. Wieczorek Directed the Institute for Health Promotion and the Center for Health and Social Research at SUNY Buffalo State, where he continues as Professor Emeritus.
