Weon Gyu Shin

Weon Gyu Shin was born in South Korea, in 1975. He received the B.S. degree in precision mechanical engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1997; the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 1999; and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2009, respectively. He was at the High Temperature Plasma Laboratory, University of Minnesota, as a Postdoctoral Associate for one year. In 2010, he joined Chungnam National University, Daejeon, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering.
