Wei Liu

Wei Liu received the B.S. degree from Yangtze University, Hubei, China, the M.S. degree from the China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree from the China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, Beijing, in 2008, all in engineering. He is currently a Professor-Level Senior Engineer with CNPC Engineering Technology Research and Development Company Ltd., Beijing. His research interests include key models and methods of intelligent drilling decision systems, and wellbore safety drilling technology and equipment for deep or ultra-deep wells.
