Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang is a Professor with the West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, the Director and the Chief Scientist of the West China Biomedical Data Center, Sichuan University, the Deputy Director of the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch, Chinese Physicians Association, and the Standing Committee of the Psychiatrists Branch of the Chinese Physicians Association. He has authored more than 40 relevant papers in the last five years. He has authored many articles in high-impact journals, such as Biological Psychiatry, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica. His main research interests include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) theory, molecular genetics, and mental health management. Mr. Zhang was awarded the First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Sichuan Province.
