Wei Ji

Wei Ji was born in Harbin, China, in 1986. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, in 2010, 2011, and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he was a Lecturer with the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in production engineering with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, where he is currently a Researcher. He has authored a book chapter and over 40 articles. He holds seven patents. His research interests include big data in manufacturing, automatic assembly, materials machining, and cutting tool technology. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Manufacturing Research. He is also the Editorial Assistant of Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing. Dr. Ji was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 9th International Conference on Digital Enterprise Technology in 2016.
