Wei Ding received the B.Sc. degree in physics, the M.Sc. degree in electronic major from Peking University, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Bath, Bath, U.K. In 2011, he joined Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. In 2019, he joined the Institute of Photonic Technology, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include anti-resonant hollow-core fiber, hollow-core fiber communication, nonlinear optics in optical waveguide, nano-optical antenna, and near-field optics. He is the Senior Member of Optica.
