Wayne R. Schlei

Wayne Schlei received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Astrodynamics and Space Applications from Purdue University. He currently works at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a mission design engineer within the Astrodynamics and Controls group where he served as the deputy mission design engineer for New Horizons during the Arrokoth encounter and has lead various developmental projects for trajectory design practices in formation flight and multi-body dynamics.
