Development of pesticide residue and toxins analytical methodologies (Instrumental analysis (GC-ECD/FPD/NPD/HALL/FID, HPLC-UV/PDA/Fluorescence/ Conductivity, GC-ITMS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS)
Environmental fate of pesticides (adsorption, leaching, runoff, degradation, preferential flow, volatilization) and contamination of surface- and groundwater bodies
Monitoring of pesticide residues in environmental samples (soil, air, precipitation, surface and ground-water bodies), food and Feed
Pesticide risk assessment and prioritization exercises
Ecotoxicological behavior of pesticides and its metabolites (by microtox test, Daphnia magna, Gambusia affinis, higher plants)
Effects of post-harvest treatments on fate of pesticides on processed foods (olives, wine, spirits, peaches, pears, stewed fruits)
Interactions of pesticides with soil microbial community - Plant Growth Promoting Rizobacteria (PGPR)
