Vito Capriati is Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Bari. Since 2016, he is Director of Interuniversity Consortium CINMPIS. Research interests revolve around the chemistry of polarised organometallic compounds, the synthesis and reactivity of new heterocycles, asymmetric catalysis, and new sustainable chemical processes using water and deep eutectic solvents. He is author of over 160 papers, 7 book chapters and 2 patents. Since 2019, he is Fellow of the RSC.
