Graduated in Veterinary Medicine (Universidade Federal de Campina Grande - UFCG) 2010; Masters (2012), Doctorate (2014) and Post-Doctorate (2016) degree in Veterinary Medicine by the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Medicina Veterinária - UFCG. He is a Professor at the Instituto Federal da Paraíba (IFPB), Campus Sousa, teaching the disciplines of Veterinary Parasitology, Parasitic Diseases and Infectocontagious Diseases of Domestic Animals in the Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine; and Practices in Veterinary Clinical Analysis in the Specialization in Veterinary Medicine. He is currently Research Coordinator at Campus Sousa / IFPB. He is an advisor professor in the Postgraduate Programs in Animal Science - master's level (PPGCA) and Animal Science and Health - master's and doctoral levels (PPGCSA) / CSTR / UFCG, where teaches the discipline of Biological Control of Animal Pathogens. Since 2012, is an associate member of the Brazilian College of Veterinary Parasitology (CBPV). He has experience in the areas of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (Parasitic Diseases and Infectocontagious Diseases), acting mainly on the following themes: gastrointestinal helminthiasis, biological control, nematophagous fungi, anthelmintic plants, FAMACHA © method, Haemonchus contortus, anthelmintic resistance, Rhipicephalus microplus, acaricide resistance, Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum.
