Venugopal Arumuru received the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He worked as a Research Associate at NUS, Singapore. He was a Lead Engineer with GE Measurement and Control India, Pune, India, for two years. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the School of Mechanical Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar, India. He has authored more than 40 SCI peer-reviewed international journals and more than 30 international conference publications and holds eight Indian patent applications. His research interests include fluid–structure interaction, unsteady aero-hydrodynamics, turbulence and flow control, electronics cooling, and fluid flow metrology. Dr. Arumuru has been awarded excellence in the Ph.D. Thesis Award, the Teaching Excellence Award, and the Young Scientist Award.
