Senior Project Manager IBM GLobal Services Australia November 1998 – March 2004 (5 years 5 months)Melbourne Area, Australia As Certified PMP, I had served IBM Global Services in Telstra Account as a Development Manager in their MICA (mobile Integrated Customer Accounts) and then moved on PROM as Senior PM. The MICA account had a total of 220 staff of which 120 was directly reporting to me. I had 6 teams each having 20 members addressing various aspects of software such as Customer Care, Billing, Call Pricing, Networks etc. The annual outlay was around 27-30 Million Australian Dollars. In PROM I was responsible for 3 Million Dollars annually leading a team of 30 with responsibility to manage end-to-end services. I had a team of Project Managers under my supervision managing a host of international consultants, contractors and dealing with the Ministry on all legal, financial, technical and all contractual matters. Assistant Engineer, Power Projects Division Tata Consulting Engineers July 1978 – April 1981 (2 years 10 months)Bangalore India As Assistant Engineer served the TCE in their power and industrial projects. Actively involved in the engineering of Vikrant Tyres Project, Raichur 2x210MW Thermal Power Project, Trombay 2x500MW Power Generation project. During the stay, I became an expert in lightning protection, bus duct design, electrical equipment tender analysis, and approval of suppliers. Junior Engineer, Electrical Switchgear Manaufacturing Division Macneill and Magor Ltd February 1973 – July 1976 (3 years 6 months)Chennai Area, India Joined as Electrical Engineer design, tendering and testing initially of all Distribution Switchgear and Control panels for various industries such as Iron and Manganese Ore handling, Boiler Control panels Motor control centers and then migrated to R&D unit within the same organization. I had contributed to the development of 6.6KV switchgear and its successful testing at the CPRI, Bangalore.
