个人简介
Completed my doctoral research in Transparent Conducting Oxide Thin Films for Solar Cell and Gas Sensor Application, under the guidance of Dr. R. Ramesh Babu, Assistant Professor, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. I have to complete a post-doctoral Fellow in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering, Henan University, China in photocatalytic, electrocatalytic, and photoelectrochemical water splitting applications. I have done as a post-doctoral fellow at SSN Research center, SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam in the field of sustainable energy production and storage application. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai.
Highlights
12+ years of research experience.
A count of 15 articles has been published in reputed international journals and a few more papers are in the pipeline. More than 8 articles are under review and writing processes
I have an experience in the preparation of Nanomaterials for water splitting and supercapacitors applications
Have to experience in handling physical and chemical thin films deposition methods such as Electron Beam Evaporation (EBM), Spray Pyrolysis and Spin coating, Hydrothermal, Dip coating and Chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and Hydrothermal, solvothermal, Co-precipitation methods for Nanostructured materials preparation.
Experience in handling characterization methods such as X-ray diffraction, FTIR, UV, Raman, Hall Measurement, Dielectric Measurement, Four Point Probe, Optical Microscopy and Z-scanning, and Electrochemical Measurement methods.
Capable of independently carrying out individual projects.
Experience in guiding postgraduate students and M.Phil. Scholars.
Awarded Best Poster Presentation.
Research Interests
• To prepare nanomaterials for energy production and storage application such as Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting (HER, OER), super capacitor, Battery, Fuel cell
• Understanding the physical properties of the material, like structural properties (XRD, XPS, Raman) and surface analysis like SEM, AFM and
• To prepare optoelectronic and TCO thin films, Ferrite materials, Nanofilm, and Nanostructured materials.
• To prepare activated carbon nanomaterials from Biowaste.
• To prepare Carbon-based materials like graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxides (R-GO) and carbon nitride (g-C3N4).
• To synthesize new roots or simple methods.
• To fabricate heterojunction solar cell devices, DSSC, and Perovskite solar cell devices.
• To construct the metal oxide-based gas sensor device.
