Mageshwaran Vellaichamy

Dr. V. Mageshwaran's current research interests are biocontrol of economically important plant pathogens using bacterial endophytes, lignocellulosic biomass utilization and solid state fermentation. The major research areas are soil microbiology and fermentation technology. He is having research experience on fermentation techniques for cotton by-products and biomass utilization and biocontrol of bacterial common blight. He had pursued his PhD in Microbiology from IARI, New Delhi in 2010.
