In 2019, Prof. Fanos resulted 1st in Europe and 2nd in the world for the research in Neonatology and, in 2020, he resulted 1st in the world for the research in Metabolomics, according to Expertscape (www.expertscape.com, which calculates the world ranking of researchers in subspecialties, taking into account the total number of published papers in the last 10 years, the importance of the Journals and the role of the Authors).
