Vardis Tsontos

My background includes a Ph.D in applied Ocean Science and over 20 years of experience in the field of oceanographic information systems, remote sensing, geospatial data management, and project management. Work experience spans NASA, NOAA and UN agencies, in addition to academia and industry. Much of my career has focused on enabling synergistic use of multivariate ocean remote sensing and in-situ data observations via geospatial data technologies in support of marine science and applications.
